Eliana Adelynn “Ellie” Holland, age 11, of Jefferson City, Missouri, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026, leaving behind heartbroken family members, friends, classmates, teammates, and a community deeply saddened by the loss of a young girl whose vibrant spirit touched everyone she met.
Born on November 12, 2014, in Jefferson City, Ellie was the beloved daughter of Theresa Jean Miloro and Joseph Walter Holland. Though her life was far too short, Ellie filled every moment with creativity, laughter, compassion, and unforgettable joy. She was a fifth-grade student at Trinity Lutheran School, where she was known for her honesty, energy, and caring nature.
Ellie’s bright personality shined in everything she did. She had a deep love for ice skating and proudly participated as a member of the Capital Classics Synchronized Skating Team on the Aspire 3 team. Her passion for skating reflected her determination, enthusiasm, and love for teamwork. Earlier in life, she also enjoyed gymnastics, embracing every opportunity to stay active and adventurous.
Creativity was at the center of Ellie’s world. She loved art projects and especially enjoyed making colorful fingernail creations decorated with glitter and stamps. Her imagination extended into her beloved collection of plastic ducks, which she often shared with others simply to make them smile. Ellie also treasured her stuffed animals and had a special talent for caring for plants, often gifting them to older neighbors whom she loved visiting and talking with. Those friendships meant a great deal to her and reflected her compassionate heart.
Ellie’s love for animals was equally remarkable. She cared deeply for snakes, turtles, fish, dogs, and nearly every creature she encountered. Whether spending time outdoors riding four-wheelers and side-by-side UTVs, enjoying bonfires, or playing Minecraft with her dad, Ellie embraced life with excitement and wonder.
Some of her happiest moments were found in life’s simple pleasures—cooking pancakes and spaghetti, getting donuts from Schulte’s, attending football practices with her cousin Chris, and laughing with siblings, cousins, and loved ones. Family members remember her as “spicy,” honest to a fault, and overflowing with personality. Beneath that spirited exterior was a deeply loving little girl who cared sincerely for everyone around her.
Ellie is survived by her parents, siblings Elaina and Mason Holland, grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, beloved dog Brodie, and countless extended family members and friends who adored her.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Freeman Mortuary, followed immediately by funeral services in the Freeman Chapel.
Though her passing leaves unimaginable sorrow, Ellie’s beautiful spirit, joyful laughter, and loving heart will continue to live on in the countless lives she touched.
